Patti Sue Myers, on behalf of herself and her four minor children filed an action as against defendants for loss of means of support in consequence of the intoxication of her husband James Myers. The complaint was predicated on the provisions of Section 135 of Chapter 43 of Illinois Revised Statutes, sometimes referred to as the “Dram Shop Act.” In the complaint it is asserted that by reason of the intoxication of James Myers, resulting from consumption of alcoholic beverages purchased from defendants on July 16, 1966, James Myers…
