The defendant, Tyrone Brown, appeals from the judgment of conviction, rendered after a jury trial, of operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of intoxicating liquor in violation of General Statutes § 14-227a (a) (1) and operating a motor vehicle while having an elevated blood alcohol content in violation of General Statutes § 14-227a (a) (2).1 On appeal, the defendant claims that (1) the trial court erred by failing to sever the two counts of the information, (2) the court erred in admitting certain expert testimony that was cumulatively prejudicial, (3) the court…
