Petitioners have appealed from an order of the circuit court disallowing their petition for the adoption of Shona Andrews, born June 1,1972 in Edmonton, Alberta. That petition—initially filed on November 16,1973—included as an attachment a handwritten consent to the adoption dated July 3, 1973 and signed by the child’s natural, unwed mother in Edmonton.
