Ralph Mariani appeals from a judgment of conviction of aiding and abetting a bank robbery by force, violence or intimidation (Count One) and of aiding and abetting an armed bank robbery (Count Two) in violation of 18 U.S.C. §§ 2113(a), (d) and 2, entered in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of New York, Platt, J., after a jury trial. Appellant was sentenced to consecutive terms of eight years imprisonment on each count; execution of the sentence on Count Two was suspended, however, and appellant was placed on probation fbr five years on that…
