Robert Hamilton (“Movant”) appeals a judgment denying his Rule 29.15 motion for post-conviction relief from his conviction for tampering with a judicial officer, pursuant to § 565.084. 1 Movant alleges that his trial counsel was ineffective for declining to call Elizabeth Duncan to testify on his behalf and that appellate counsel was ineffective for failing to raise on his direct appeal the trial court’s denial of Movant’s objection to and request for mistrial for Virginia Gray’s testimony concerning the details of Movant’s prior conviction for assault.
