I. INTRODUCTION

The Court has before it motions filed by the United States Trustee (“UST”) in ten separate bankruptcy cases seeking an order determining a reasonable fee for petition preparers and requiring the petition preparers in the ten cases to disgorge any fees collected in excess of that amount. 1 The ten cases involve three different bankruptcy petition preparers, namely, Michael M.
