HOLMES, Circuit Judge.

This action in equity was brought by the Housing Expediter for an injunction and restitution for rent overcharges collected prior to July 1, 1947, pursuant to Section 205(a) of the Emergency Price Control Act of 1942, as amended, 50 U.S.C.A.Appendix, § 901, et seq., and the regulations issued pursuant thereto. The same relief was also sought for violations occurring after July 1, 1947, pursuant to Section 206(b) of the Blousing and Rent Act of 1947, , as amended, 50 U.S.C.A.Appendix, § 1881 et seq., and the regulations issued pursuant thereto.
