RULING ON PETITIONS TO INSPECT AND COPY TRANSCRIPT OF GRAND JURY TESTIMONY

The States of Connecticut and Massachusetts have separately petitioned the court for permission to inspect and copy portions of testimony given in 1983 before a federal grand jury investigating possible criminal antitrust violations by supermarkets operating in Connecticut and Western Massachusetts.
