Plaintiff, National Starch & Chemical Corporation, (“NSCC”), filed this diversity action seeking a declaration that defendant insurers are obligated, under various Comprehensive General Liability (“CGL”) insurance policies, to defend and indemnify it in connection with its alleged liability for environmental contamination at a number of sites throughout the country.
