12Plaintiff, Leyman Jose Martinez, appeals from that portion of the trial court’s decision awarding custody of the minor child. We affirm the judgment of the trial court.

On May 30, 2012, Mr. Martinez, filed a petition seeking majority custody of his minor daughter. Named as defendant was the child’s mother, Ada Marlin Lagos. A hearing was held on August 20, 2013, and at its conclusion, the trial court awarded joint custody, designating Ms. Lagos as the primary domiciliary parent.
