This appeal arises from an action brought by *64Sunrise Properties, Inc. (Sunrise), against Bacon, Wilson, Ratner, Cohen, Salvage, Fialky & Fitzgerald, a professional corporation (Bacon Wilson) engaged in the practice of law, and Michael S. Ratner, a shareholder of Bacon Wilson and at all relevant times its president and comanager. Sunrise claimed that Ratner had negligently conducted a title examination.
