This action for damages arises from the destruction by fire of a building owned by the plaintiffs, Mr. and Mrs. James 0. Mitchell. The lawsuit was filed against the Restaurant Enterprises Group, Inc., (REG) and Home Insurance Company of Illinois (Home Ins.). Both REG and Home Ins. appeal from the order of the trial court which entered judgment on the jury’s verdict in favor of the Mitchells.
