Plaintiffs in this nationwide warranty action seek damages and equitable and declaratory relief against defendant for alleged defects in its motor vehicles. On behalf of a potential class of up to nine million parties, plaintiffs have moved for recertification or certification of four classes of Ford owners, pursuant to Rule 23, Fed.R.Civ.P., and the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act, 15 U.S.C. §§ 2310, et seq.
