An indictment was returned into the criminal court of Cook county,- the first count of which charged that plaintiff in error, on September 1, 1905, in said Cook county, committed larceny of a rug of the value of $235, the property of John M. Symth Company, a corporation. The second count charged plaintiff in error with buying, receiving and aiding in concealing the said rug in said Cook county knowing the same to have been feloniously stolen. To these counts an habitual criminal count was added. On motion of the State’s attorney of Cook county the criminal court ordered the cause transferred…
