This case arises from various disputes between a landlord and tenant. The landlord is Ms. Heller, the counterclaimant-appellant herein, and the tenant is Sola Salon Studios, Inc. (“Sola”), the appellee herein. Only one of the parties’ many claims and counterclaims is before this court. All that is left for our resolution is a determination whether a technical provision of the parties’ lease — an anti-assignment provision — was breached by Sola.
