SPEER, Associate Justice.

This is an ordinary action of trespass to try title, instituted by appellant against appellees to recover the title and possession of three sections of land, containing 640 acres each, situated in Motley County. The pleadings of the parties were sufficient to raise the issues hereinafter discussed. The cause was submitted to a jury upon special issues, among which was the following: “Were, or not, the certificates by virtue of which the lands in controversy were located, paid for with money oivned by Anna B.
