In December 2003, David Stiger pled guilty in the Jefferson Circuit Court to, among other offenses, five counts of first-degree robbery. By Judgment entered January 30, 2004, the trial court sentenced him, pursuant to the plea agreement, to concurrent terms of ten years’ imprisonment for each robbery count, enhanced to twenty years by virtue of Stiger’s status as a first-degree persistent felon.
