The defendant, Jose Maldonado, appeals from two convictions of murder in the first degree, as well as one conviction of armed assault with intent to murder, three convictions of assault and battery by means of a dangerous weapon, and one conviction of illegal possession of a firearm. There is no basis *503for relief pursuant to our power under G. L. c. 278, § 33E, to order a new trial or reduce the murder verdicts.
