This action for injunctive *119relief and damages under the Unfair Trade Practices and Consumer Protection Act, 73 P.S. §201-1 et seq. was commenced by complaint filed by the office of the attorney general on behalf of the Commonwealth on May 28, 2003. An affidavit of service was filed on August 19, 2013. The affidavit of service of the complaint was signed by Charles J.
