Appellant, A. O. Bateman, was engaged in the business of drilling oil wells, and appellee, D, F. Cleghorn, was employed by him as a workman in the drilling operations. Cleghorn was employed as a “stabber” in a casing gang. In pulling pipe from a well the casing would be eieyated high enough to unscrew the top joint and remove it from the string of' casing, and when so removed the string of casing would be again elevated for the removal of another joint, and so on until the whole string of pipe was taken from the well.
