Appellant filed his bill in the circuit court of Livingston county against appellees for the specific performance of an alleged contract made with him by Abraham Livingston, in his lifetime, for the sale of an eighty-acre tract of land in said Livingston county. About 1868, when appellant was fifteen years old, his parents died and he went to live in the family of Abraham Livingston. Livingston had no children of his own.
