Plaintiff was awarded damages on account of the death of her intestate, Seymour F. Potts, resulting from injuries received by Potts while in the employ of defendant. The action was brought under the provisions of the Federal Employers Liability Act, 45 U.S.C.A., section 51, and alleged that the defective condition of the brake beams constituted a violation of the Federal Safety Appliance Act.
