This ancient case involves civil RICO claims filed derivatively by one shareholder of the Epstein family business against his co-shareholder brothers and nephew, alleging, inter alia, that they fraudulently siphoned the company’s funds into their personal ventures through a pattern of racketeering. When the case was reassigned to this Court on February 26, 1997, motions for summary judgment and dismissal had been pending since 1995.
