11 After the plaintiff was involved in an automobile accident, she filed suit against the other two drivers and their insurance companies, seeking damages for injuries she allegedly incurred as a result of the accident. The plaintiff dismissed one of the drivers after reaching a settlement agreement. The case proceeded to trial on the issue of liability and damages attributed to the remaining defendant.
