This is an action commenced in the district court of Ottawa county, by the widow, for damages for the wrongful death of the husband, resulting in. deprivation of protection, care, and means of support. The petition charges, in brief, that oh the 6th day of July, 1910, the Big Jack Mining Company was operating a lead and zinc mine in Lincoln-'ville, in Ottawa county, Okla.; that for some months prior to the 1st day of July, 1910, the mine had been shut down, and had become filled with water, and that the water was pumped out the latter part of June, and the active…
