This is an appeal by Wayne Thornburg, hereinafter called defendant, from a judgment in favor of Barbara Bishy Frye, hereinafter called plaintiff, on account of alleged personal injuries received by plaintiff through the negligence of defendant. The assignments of error read as follows :

“1. The Court erred in the rejection of evidence offered by the defendant; and
“2. The Court erred in overruling defendant’s motion for a directed verdict at the conclusion of plaintiff’s case; and
