This is an action to recover actual and punitive damages for alleged fraud in a loan transaction. The plaintiffs are Richard L. Hanson and Martha M. Hanson, his wife. The original petition and the first amended petition, as originally filed, designated' the defendants as “Local Finance Company, a corporation, Motors Insurance Corporation, a corporation, and Union Mutual Life Insurance Company, a corporation”.
