On 14 April 2005, a military judge sitting as a general court-martial convicted appellant, consistent with his pleas, of wrongful possession and use of methamphetamines, in violation of Article 112a, Uniform Code of Military Justice, 10 U.S.C. § 912a [hereinafter UCMJ], The military judge sentenced appellant to a bad-conduct discharge, confinement for thirty-six months, and forfeiture of all pay and allowances.
