This was an action on the case in the Circuit Court of Jackson County, by appellee against appellant, to recover for a personal injury. Trial by jury. Verdict and judgment in favor of appellee for $4,400.
The declaration consists of three counts. The first charges that appellant was the owner of and used and operated a certain railroad extending through Jackson county, State of Illinois, and entering the city of Hurphysboro upon and along one of the public streets of the city, known at the time of the injury complained of as Union street,…
