GILBERTSON, Chief Justice.

[¶ 1.] On August 15, 2014, the circuit court granted a divorce to Everett Thomas MacKaben Jr. (Tom) and Annette MacKa-ben because of irreconcilable differences. In dividing the property, the circuit court determined that a sizable tax lien on the marital home was Tom’s nonmarital debt. The court also awarded spousal support of $1,000 per month to Annette for a period of 10 years to follow the sale of the marital home.
