The plaintiff, LeRoy Collins, is Receiver of the National Construction Company, a Florida corporation, which on July 14, 1930, entered into a contract with the United States to furnish all labor and materials and perform all work required for the demolition of certain buildings and remodeling of and construction of certain other buildings at Richmond, Virginia. On September 10, 1930, the National Construction Company entered into a contract with the Waldrop Heating & Plumbing Company to do certain of the work and install the mechanical equipment required by the contract with the defendant, as…
