This is an action for damages for personal injuries. Orr, the plaintiff, "was employed as a laborer by the Whit-mire Research Corporation, manufacturing chemists of St. Louis. Whitmire had a contract with the Shell Oil Company to compound, according to Shell’s formulae, insect spray sold under the Shell name and label. Shell furnished the formulae and specifications, chemicals and other ingredients, cans and containers.
