T1 Petitioner, Donald G. Woodard, [Husband] and Respondent, Beverly R. Woodard, [Wife] were married in September 1984. Since 1977, Husband had been a firefighter, first with the Edmond Fire Department, and then in 1980, with the Oklahoma City Fire Department. In February 1997, Husband had *1145worked as a firefighter for twenty years. At that time, he was eligible for retirement and a monthly service retirement pension.1 [Plan AJ.
