Defendant appeals from a judgment in the sum of $35,000 entered on the verdict of a jury in an action by plaintiff to recover damages for personal injuries sustained by Mm as a result of being struck by a streetcar. Defendant’s motions for directed verdict and judgment notwithstanding the verdict were overruled.
