MEMORANDUM OPINION

• In this case, plaintiffs filed suit against defendants pursuant to 42 U.S.C. § 1983 alleging violations of the Fourth and Fourteenth Amendments to the United States Constitution and state law claims for false imprisonment and negligence .as a result of the removal of two children from their parents’ home by the local department of social services.
