OPINION

EVA M. GUZMAN, Justice.

A jury found appellant Robert Lee Ba-nargent guilty of aggravated assault and found that he used a deadly weapon, namely a knife, during the commission of the offense. After finding three enhancement paragraphs alleging sequential felonies to be true, the jury assessed punishment at confinement for life in the Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division, and assessed a fine of $10,000.
