BACKGROUND
Plaintiff Amayla Thurmond (hereinafter “Plaintiff’) commenced this action on August 11, 2014, alleging discrimination in the provision of housing purportedly in violation of-the Fair Housing Act, Title VIII of the Civil Rights Act of 1968, as amended, 42 U.S.C. §§ 3601 et seq. (hereinafter “FHA”) when defendant Wilfred Toombs (hereinafter “Toombs”)1 purportedly refused to show Plaintiff property located at 11 Union Street in Geneva, New York, due to the fact that she had two minor children.
