Samuel Clesson Allen, a resident of Honolulu, died May 13, 1903. His widow, Bathsheba M. Allen, died February 11, 1914. Each left an estate of large value which was disposed of by their respective last Avills. In his will Mr. Allen, after making certain specific bequests, devised and bequeathed the residue of his estate to a board of trustees, one of which was Mrs. Allen, and who was named as life beneficiary. Mr. Allen also gave to his Avife the power of appointment of his estate by a provision in his Avill reading as follows: “I give devise and bequeath all…
