The defendant commission, by order made under date of July 26, 1945, indefinitely suspended plaintiff as warden of the State prison for southern Michigan. This action was taken without hearing and on the recommendation of the attorney general, following an investigation by him into certain matters affecting the management of the institution. Following notification of the issuance of the order, plaintiff demanded a hearing before the corrections commission and also a bill of particulars of the charges against him; Such hearing was denied, and on August 1, 1945, a further order was made by…
