DE CONCINI, Justice.
Appellant, Town of Williams, brought an action in eminent domain against appellees to condemn certain of the latter’s property n'eeded in connection with a program of water works improvement. Appellant sought to condemn a right-of-way for a pipe line, being 25 feet in width by 5452 feet in length and covering an area of approximately 2,86 acres. Appellant further sought to condemn 40,019.21 cubic yards of clay, sand and gravel from a 10 acre tract to be used in constructing a reservoir.
