Defendant appeals his conviction of premeditated first-degree murder, an off-grid felony, and his hard 40 sentence, claiming that (1) the evidence was insufficient to conclude that the victim died as a result of the shooting and (2) his right to confrontation was violated by admitting audiotapes into evidence without playing them before the jury.
