OPINION
OLIVER, Judge.
Represented by retained counsel, Taylor was convicted of first degree murder for the killing of his wife and was sentenced to imprisonment in the penitentiary for 99 years,, and perfected an appeal in the nature of a writ of error to this Court. The technical record and the Bill of Exceptions were duly filed, but defense counsel failed *176to file a brief or Assignment of Error in this Court.
