On August 10, 1993, a federal grand jury returned a one count indictment against Oliver L. Gibson (“Gibson”) for being a convicted felon in knowing possession of a firearm in violation of 18 U.S.C. § 922(g)(1). Gibson pled not guilty to the charge and filed a motion to suppress the firearm.
