This case concerns the purchase and sale of real property later found unsuitable for commercial development because of its prior use as a garbage dump.

The property was sold September 1980 by a land sale contract for the agreed sum of $385,000. In Pacific Northwest Life Insurance Company's suit for damages initiated 3 years later, the trial court ruled that the sellers, Roger L.
