¶ 1 Following a jury trial, defendant was convicted of domestic battery ( 720 ILCS 5/12-3.2(a)(1) (West 2014) ) and violation of an order of protection ( id. § 12-3.4(a) ). The trial court sentenced him to consecutive prison terms of six and three years, respectively. Defendant appeals, arguing (1) the court erred in imposing an extended-term sentence in connection with his domestic battery conviction, (2) the court abused its discretion when imposing his sentences, and (3) he is entitled to $ 475 in monetary credit toward imposed fines.
