Appellant was convicted of the crime of grand larceny, alleged to have been committed by stealing a steer, the property of one Yickers.
The principal contention of learned counsel for appellant is that the testimony was not sufficient to sustain the verdict — conceding that there was enough evidence to establish appellant’s guilty participation in the commission of the crime — he was indicted as principal, and that there is no proof tending to show that he stole the animal himself or was ■ present when the animal was stolen.
