NATURE OF CASE
Chad K. and Michelle K. appeal the June 22, 2004, order of the county court for Cass County, sitting as a juvenile court, adjudicating Heather R., Chad “C.J.” K. (C.J.), and Andrea K. to be juveniles as described in Neb. Rev. Stat. § 43-247(3)(a) (Cum. Supp. 2002). Chad and Michelle assert that they were denied effective assistance of counsel, that their due process rights were violated because their joint representation by court-appointed counsel posed a conflict of interest, and that there was insufficient evidence to support the court’s order.
