Plaintiffs appeal from a portion of the judgment taken against them by the defendant City and County of San Francisco.

The Board of Supervisors of the City and County of San Francisco on April 7, 1965, adopted a resolution that set forth its general objective to substantially improve its principal thoroughfare, Market Street. During the same period the Bay Area Rapid Transit District (BARTD) was proceeding with the construction of its rapid transit system to serve the San Francisco Bay Area.
