This is an appeal by Lina M. Kikuta, Co-Executrix of the Estate of William P. Moriyama, deceased, from the judgment of the circuit court affirming the denial by the Board of Trustees of the State Employees’ Retirement System (hereinafter “Board”) of the appellant’s claim for service-connected total disability retirement benefits.
The decedent, William P. Moriyama, was employed as a Tax Returns Examiner III for the State Department of Taxation. He was a member of the retirement system.
