We have under review an order of the Industrial Commission denying the appellant, Charles L. Ellis, III, compensation for the loss of a leg, which disability is claimed by the appellant to have resulted from an accident arising out of and in the course of his employment.
The evidence was first heard by the hearing commissioner on August 15, 1942. It was then agreed that employee and *295employer might subsequently file the reports of physicians in relation to the case, with the right of counsel for each of the parties, if they desired, to cross-examine the physicians.
